Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life

Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL) is a four to six week long course practicing spiritual disciplines in the rhythms of everyday life.

The course consists of four elements:

  1. Daily personal meditation of a Bible text lasting approximately thirty minutes. Participants receive guidance for these times.
  2. A short daily time reflecting back on the day.
  3. Weekly group meetings. Participants practice different meditation forms using a Bible text and then share about their experiences from the week.
  4. One or more meetings with a spiritual companion.

People doing SEEL open themselves to spiritual experiences in their everyday life. For many, these practices foster a contemplative, mindful way of live.
